Friends

It's funny how friends slip in and out of our lives. They move away to go to school or to take new jobs and we keep in touch as best we can with our busy lives moving on around us. But then one day they slip back in our lives and with close friends, things pick up right where you left off. You talk of old times and good memories. You drink a few screwdrivers and tell old stories and eat some Chinese. Suddenly when the night is over, you don't want it to be over. You want the good times to keep rolling on and you want to remain a few steps out of reality for a bit. But you get in your car and drive back into the present.....but you thank your lucky stars that you at least have those old memories to hold on to......and crave the next visit when you can make new ones.

Isn't it great that we, whose lives have been touched by Annie's talents, get a chance to give back a bit? Yeah, we pay for patterns, but this is something special, a way of reaching out and letting her know we appreciate her work. Annie, I'm sure I'm not the only one whose prayers include you and your husband, and that the marrow and stem stell treatments do their magic [and selfishly speaking, so you can get your mind back on more of your wonderful designs! :-) ]
